Writing and Editing

Clients need content, either for marketing materials, websites, blogs, or email campaigns. My specialty is being able to pull all the pieces together to provide the right message for each format. My goal is always to inspire clients as well as their audience.

My freelance writing services include magazine features, issue articles, editorial opinion pieces, promotional articles, reviews, and local news reporting.

When professionally editing materials such as academic manuscripts and books, I provide the necessary support to create the best finished document possible. In addition to standard editing, this sometimes means working through the structure and content with the author or re-writing sections. Each project requires flexibility and a solid working relationship.

Photography

Clients need quality shots for their websites and social media accounts. After years of having to use the perfect photo for each news blog post, I know what makes an engaging photo for promotional use. I have an artist's eye and know the nuts and bolts of what's important to document with photos at every event.

Website Design and Online Communities

Since I have been engaging people for years through my blogging and writing, my knowledge of online communities has developed over time. I design websites and blogs using Drupal and Wordpress. My marketing, promotional, blogging, and website advice comes from experience and enhances the online presence of my clients while ensuring the best Search Engine Optimization.

Illustrations And Commissioned Paintings

With a background in computer graphics and art, my services also include illustrations for articles, books, or blogs. My comic strip ROCK'burb looked at local life and issues in Rockville demonstrating my ability to transform your message into a drawing. As an artist, I welcome commissions on paintings of homes since your home is where your heart is. These keepsake paintings will be shared for generations.

Special events bring people together. My professional expertise, hard work, and management make all of the events I plan a seamless success.
