If you can breathe, you can do yoga.
Everyone can do yoga!
Learn how to adapt the classical yoga asanas to the chair rather than the floor. Material is offered for students of a variety of skill levels and circumstances, but the emphasis is on being able to overcome physical limitations and make yoga accessible to all.
Sign up for a two-hour chair yoga workshop and learn how to practice traditional poses using the chair. After the session, you will leave with posture review sheets and the confidence to complete a yoga class using the chair.
This six-hour course helps teachers understand the goals and benefits of chair yoga, and creates a toolbox of postures and sequences for future classes.
- an emphasis on breathing
- a range of seated exercises
- poses for a class taught entirely in a chair
- how a chair can be incorporated as a prop during a restorative or standing mat yoga class
- the importance of relaxation and seated meditation

Be the answer when people question if they can practice yoga. Some of my students are in their 80’s and 90’s, some have walkers or use wheelchairs, and others have chronic conditions. They all do yoga and feel great!
